Data Protection Policy of the e-shop www.catgenie.eu
and consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of:
- order processing and legitimate interests
- newsletter subscription and/or registration
- sending purchase satisfaction surveys (Heureka, Zboží)
- remarketing activities
- posting discussion contributions
- sending information about product availability and pricing
- You hereby grant consent to Traminal s.r.o., Kaprova 42/14, Praha 1, 110 00, Company ID: 24260321, VAT ID: CZ24260321, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 198260, (Operations & Service Centre: Březolupy 75, 687 13 Březolupy), Email: info@catgenie.eu, Tel. +420 773 751 111 (hereinafter "the Seller" or "the Controller"), to process the following personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter "the Regulation"):

Where the purchaser is a legal entity, the following data shall be provided upon registration:
- Company name (business name)
- Billing address and delivery address
- Company ID, VAT ID
- Phone number
- Email address
- The personal data listed above must be processed for the purpose of fulfilling orders and other obligations arising from the contract, where a purchase agreement is concluded between you and the Seller. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation — processing is necessary for the performance of a contract. The Seller also processes this data for the purpose of maintaining a record of the contract and for the potential future exercise and defence of the rights and obligations of the contracting parties.
Personal data shall be retained and processed for the above purposes for a period of 10 years from the completion of the last part of performance under the contract, unless another legal regulation requires the retention of contractual documentation for a longer period. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(c) and (f) of the Regulation — processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation and for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the Controller.
- Newsletters and other commercial communications may be sent to the purchaser's email address or phone number, as permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, unless the purchaser opts out. Such communications may be unsubscribed from at any time by any means — for example, by sending an email or clicking the unsubscribe link in a commercial communication.
- The processing of personal data is carried out by Traminal s.r.o. as the data Controller. Personal data is also processed on behalf of the Controller by the following processors/providers/operators:
- a) Upgates (e-commerce platform)
- b) Base (order and inventory aggregator)
- c) Shipmall (3PL fulfilment partner)
- d) Fakturoid (invoicing platform)
- e) UOL (external accounting and tax partner)
Purchase satisfaction is assessed via email surveys as part of the Verified by Customers programme, in which our e-shop participates. These are sent after every purchase, unless you opt out in accordance with Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. Processing of personal data for the purpose of sending surveys within the Verified by Customers programme is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in assessing your satisfaction with purchases made with us. For the sending of surveys, evaluation of feedback, and analysis of our market position, we use the operator of the Heureka.cz portal as a processor; we may share information about purchased goods and your email address with them for these purposes. Your personal data is not passed to any third party for their own purposes in connection with the sending of email surveys. You may object to receiving email surveys under the Verified by Customers programme at any time by declining further surveys via the link in the survey email. In the event of your objection, we will cease sending you surveys.
- The Controller does not have a designated Data Protection Officer. The Controller can be contacted at info@catgenie.eu. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the EU.
- The Controller, as the operator of the website www.catgenie.eu, uses cookies on this website for the following purposes:
- measuring website traffic and generating statistics regarding visitor behaviour on the website; ● basic website functionality.
- The collection of cookies for the purposes stated above may constitute the processing of personal data. Such processing is permitted on the basis of a legal ground — the legitimate interest of the Controller — as allowed under Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation.
- The website may also be used in a mode that does not allow the collection of data on visitor behaviour — this mode can be configured in the browser settings. Cookies necessary for website functionality will be retained only for the period strictly necessary for the operation of the website.
- If a visitor objects to the processing of technical cookies necessary for website functionality, full functionality and compatibility of the website cannot be guaranteed in such a case.
- Cookies collected for the purpose of measuring website traffic and generating visitor behaviour statistics are assessed in aggregate and in anonymised form that does not permit the identification of individuals.
- Collected cookie files are processed by the following additional processors:

- Please note that under the Regulation, you have the right to:
- withdraw consent to receive commercial communications at any time,
- object to processing based on the legitimate interest of the Controller,

- request access to such data and have it updated or corrected, or request restriction of processing, ● request erasure of your personal data — we will carry out the erasure provided it does not conflict with applicable legal regulations or the legitimate interests of the Controller,
- data portability, where processing is automated and based on consent or performance of a contract, ● request a copy of the personal data being processed,
- effective judicial protection if you believe that your rights under the Regulation have been violated as a result of the processing of your personal data in breach of the Regulation,
- lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
