• IS SANISOLUTION CLEANING SOLUTION SAFE FOR MY CAT?

Yes, SaniSolution is safe for cats. It contains the same ingredients that veterinarians use to clean operating rooms. The liquid in the container is highly concentrated. In this form, it is only safe when it is in the container.

• HOW LONG WILL SANISOLUTION LAST?

It lasts for 240 cycles in Cat Activation mode. It lasts for 120 cycles in Auto Set mode. ALWAYS keep spare cartridges on hand. The price of SaniSolution is the same as a year's supply of cat litter, but the volume and weight of SaniSolution is much smaller.

• DOES SANISOLUTION DISSOLVE OR LIQUIDIZE SOLIDS?

No. The solids are converted to wastewater by a rotor inside the hopper. SaniSolution cleans the biodegradable washable granules, plastic strainer and bowl.

• CAN I REFILL THE SANISOLUTION TANK?

No, the cartridge is not refillable. The unique Smart Cartridge mechanism releases the exact amount of solution for each of the three washes in a single cleaning cycle, as each wash requires a different amount of solution. SaniSolution washes away odor-causing materials, aids in drying, and protects the mechanical parts of the device. The exclusive formula has been vet-tested and approved as safe for cats.

• IS THE CATGENIE DEVICE ECOLOGICAL?

The Smart Cartridge with SaniSolution replaces cat litter. Unlike all types of litter, all components of SaniSolution, the cartridge and the washable granules are environmentally safe, biodegradable and recyclable.

• WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CAT IS IN THE BOWL DURING CLEANING TIME?

CatGenie has sensors that register the cat and the electronic control system delays the start of cleaning until the cat leaves the area.

• WILL MY WATER BILL INCREASE WHEN I START USING CATGENIE?

There should be no significant increase in your water bill. The amount of water needed per day is equivalent to several flushes.

• WHAT HAPPENS TO WASTEWATER?

Waste water drains safely into the sewer. If the device is used in a toilet, the waste hose is hung behind the toilet bowl and the waste drains into the bowl. If used in a laundry room, the waste drains into the waste pipe from the washing machine.

• CAN WASTEWATER FROM THE LAUNDRY ROOM GET INTO THE WASHING MACHINE?

When connecting the hoses to the drain: No. If the drain hose from the CatGenie is correctly attached to the waste pipe from the washing machine, then dirty water cannot get into the laundry. This waste pipe flows directly into the sewer or septic tank. NOTE: the hose inserted into the waste pipe can be a maximum of 12 cm long.
(However, this system of inserting two hoses into one waste is not used in the Czech Republic)

When connecting to a concealed siphon, which is more widespread in the Czech Republic: If the washing machine waste hose is connected together with the Catgenie waste hose to one concealed siphon, a branch with a non-return valve must be used.

• CAN A REGULAR TOILET OVERFLOW IF WASTEWATER FROM THE CatGenie FLOWS INTO IT?

No. The water level in the bowl will automatically drop to the normal level and unless the drain is blocked, it cannot overflow.

• WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOLIDS BECOME ON A PLASTIC SCREEN?

During three washes, the plastic strainer is cleaned with water, SaniSolution and biodegradable washable granules.

• DO CAT GRANULES ABSORB CAT EXCESS?

No, they are completely non-absorbent. Unlike traditional cat litter, the granules are thoroughly washed out during each cleaning cycle. Their function is to satisfy your cat's need to scratch and cover up their droppings.

• WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A CAT EATS THESE GRANULES?

The granules are harmless to both cats and humans, and pass easily through the digestive system.

• IN WHAT SPACES CAN A TOILET BE PLACED?

The best place for Catgenie is a laundry room, utility room, bathroom or toilet for several reasons.

• WILL THE TOILET TAKE UP A LOT OF SPACE? WHAT ARE ITS DIMENSIONS?

To ensure that the Catgenie will fit in the intended location, carefully measure the available space.

The height of the device is 53 cm, depth 61 cm, width of the front part is 48 cm, width of the bottom part of the base is 43 cm, width of the top part is 41 cm.

• IS THE CONNECTION COMPLICATED?

Any handy person can handle the connection, no installation by a professional (plumber) is required. The basic equipment includes a very detailed manual for assembling and installing the device.

Connecting CatGenie in the bathroom

You only spend a few minutes setting it up and enjoy the freedom of CatGenie for the rest of your life.

The CatGenie requires simple wiring in the bathroom. You only need to connect it once to the cold water, waste or toilet and an electrical outlet.

1. Shut off the cold water supply at the toilet or sink valve.
2. Unscrew the water supply hose and connect it to the included 3/8" T-piece. Then connect the T-piece to the shut-off valve.
3. Connect the CatGenie hose to the T-piece.
4. Place the hanger with the drain hose over the edge of the toilet.
5. Plug the CatGenie into an electrical outlet. You can program it to start automatically in advance, or simply start it with the START button.

Connecting CatGenie in the Laundry Room

1. Shut off the cold water supply at the washing machine valve.
2. Unscrew the water supply hose and connect it to the included 3/8" T-piece. Then connect the T-piece to the shut-off valve.
3. Connect the CatGenie hose to the T-piece.
4. Insert the drain hose into the hole where the drain hose of your washing machine ends.
5. Plug the CatGenie into the electrical outlet. You can program it to start automatically in advance, or simply start it with the START button.

• HOW DOES THE TOILET FLUSH?

You can choose from three options: cat activation, automatic activation, manual launch.

CAT ACTIVATION

In this mode, the cycle starts after each use of the toilet thanks to special sensors that register the cat's exit and start the cleaning cycle. This way, your device can never be dirty, smelly or full of germs. This setting is also the most convenient because the 120 Cartridge automatically sets the doses of SaniSolution concentrate to 240. It's like having two cartridges in one. Tests have shown that the device works ten times more efficiently in this mode.

AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION

This mode allows you to start the system one to four times a day, depending on the number of cats. It starts either once every 24 hours, or every 12 hours, every 8 hours or every 6 hours depending on whether you set the device to 1, 2, 3 or 4 cycles per day. In this mode, the cartridge releases 120 doses of SaniSolution solution.

MANUAL STARTING WITH A BUTTON

Press the START button whenever you want to start a cleaning cycle. This is a convenient addition to the other start options and can be used, for example, in Sleep Mode or between automatic activation cycles. This makes it easier to maintain 100% hygiene. In this program, the dispenser releases 120 doses.

WILL A CAT GET USED TO THE CATGENIE EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN USING A CLASSIC TOILET FOR SEVERAL YEARS?

Place the CatGenie in the chosen location. If the CatGenie will be placed in a different location than the original litter box, move the original box to a new location. If the CatGenie is in the same location as the original litter box, leave it in place and do not clean it.

If it is necessary to move the litter box a long distance, cat behavior experts recommend moving the box to the new location in small increments so that the cat gradually gets used to the change.

HOW LONG DOES 1 CLEANING CYCLE TAKE?

The cleaning cycle takes 35 minutes.

HOW DOES THE ENTIRE CLEANING CYCLE WORK?

• the cat uses the toilet
• thanks to sensors, the cleaning process starts automatically 10 minutes after using the toilet
• the plastic sieve removes solid feces
• water and SaniSolution wash the granules and the bowl
• solid feces are liquefied in the hopper, water and waste drain
• hot air dries the granules and the inside of the bowl
• the toilet is ready for use again

CAN THE CLEANING CYCLE BE INTERRUPTED?

You can interrupt the cycle at any time using the Start–Pause button.

WHAT IS THE CONSUMPTION OF SANISOLUTION?
